Google schließt 19 Lücken im Chrome Browser

Google Chrome 9 steht nun in der finalen 9.0.597.107 Version für Windows, Linux und Mac OS X zum Download bereit. Laut Google wurden in der 9.0.597.107 Version insgesamt 19 Sicherheitslücken behoben. Der Webbrowser Google Chrome 9 soll jetzt noch schneller und stabiler sein als die vorherigen Versionen.

Die aktuelle Version enthält bekannte Funktionen wie etwa die Unterstützung von Chrome Web Store, Chrome Instant und den WebGL. WebGL ermöglicht Browsern wie Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta und WebKit nightly ohne zusätzliche Software die Darstellung von hardwarebeschleunigten 3D-Inhalten (siehe Link unten) auf einer Webseite. Chrome Instant ist eine Funktion um das Warten beim Laden häufig besuchter Webseiten zu verkürzen. Der Chrome Web Store ist momentan nur für Nutzer in den USA freigeschaltet.
