Internet Explorer 9 Release Candidate ist da

Microsoft hat den Release Candidate des Internet Explorer 9 veröffentlicht und zum Download freigegeben. Der neue Browser steht allen Nutzern von Windows 7 und Vista sowohl in einer 32- als auch einer 64-Bit Version zur Verfügung.

 

Internet Explorer 9 enthält unter anderem:

• die Verfügbarkeit der HTML-Tags audio, video und canvas sowie GPU-basierte HTML 5-Verarbeitung
• schnellere JavaScript-Verarbeitung
• optimierten Support für Standards, inklusive ES5 und verbesserte Acid 3-Ergebnisse
• zusätzliche Tests, die an Arbeitsgruppen (W3C) zur Entwicklung von Standards gegangen sind
• 15 neue Code Samples für Entwickler auf der Internet Explorer 9 Test Drive-Seite
• berücksichtigtes Feedback über das Tool Connect
